Due to the overwhelming success of the International Evening 2010 the English-German Student Council donated 1.6 million forint to the Paediatrics Clinic. The official handover followed by a short press conference took place in the Conference room of the faculty.

International Evening is an annual occasion organized by the
English-German Student Council (EGSC) and carried out, as well as enjoyed,
by 2000 international and Hungarian medical students of the Medical
Faculty of the University of Pécs.
Students represent their countries and cultures their fellow students and
to those from other faculties and even from other Universities of
Budapest, Szeged and Debrecen.

leadership of the faculty were invited for a meeting where the scientific
lectures were followed by the instrumental performance of our medical
students and free conversation.

This year the Medical School Open Day for prospective students was
organized in a new framework. Besides the all-inclusive orientation the
participants had the opportunity to try themselves out in a wide range of
practical tasks (such as practicing sutures on pig legs, filling and
extracting teeth on dummies and making pills).
