The English-German Program Student Council

The English Program Student Council is dedicated to assisting students regarding all academic and social matters. They also form the voice of the students when it comes to communicating with the University authorities. They help out students regarding exams and study materials. The Council works for optimal teaching and learning experience for students and professors acting as a medium between the students and the faculty.
Social events organized by the English Program students:
City Race: party for the freshmen organized by the upper years
"Cocktails for a Cause": This fundraiser is aimed to raise money for the less privileged children in and around Pecs. All proceeds go to Kolping, an organization that provides children and families with day care centres, clothes, holiday events and more.
Ambrosia Bash: sport event by the Orfu lakes
International Students' Evening: a cultural exchange program with food tasting, dancing
Millennium party: in February 2000 it was a formal celebration of the new millennium and became an annual tradition ever since
From time to time other random events (e.g. Thanksgiving) are organized by the students individually.
